  • J&E Companies is a sheet metal and fabrication company. We are a leader in the sheet metal and fabrication industry and have 4 facilities throughout the Twin Cities. We currently have an immediate need for a Tube Bender Operator for our Plymouth facility. This is a direct hire position and comes with a full benefits package. As the tube bending fabricator, you’ll be responsible for producing quality parts using a variety of tube bending processes – including manual and computer numerical control (CNC) tube bending machines.

    • Cut off and deburr tubes

    • Metal brazing

    • Stage and pull metal tubes

    • Assist in all tube bending activities

    • Train on operating tube benders

    • Inspect finished tubes for defects

    • Grind tube ends

    • Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area

    • Set up the workstation and select the appropriate tools

    • Other duties as assigned

    • Read prints and take accurate measurements

    • High attention to detail

    • Familiar with using calipers and other small hand tools and measurements equipment

    • Good mathematical skills

    • May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

    • Must be able to lift 50#

    • Frequent stooping, bending, twisting, squatting, pushing and pulling

    • Occasional lifting above shoulder level

    • Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours at a time

    • Safety glasses

    • Respirator as required

    • Ear plugs as required

    • Manufacturing facility

    • Noise levels can be high depending on the job being run
