Reports to: Plant Manager

Shift: 2nd

    • Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines

    • Manufacture parts to print

    • Ability to use inspection equipment to inspect parts

    • Read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer

    • Complete tool changes

    • Maintain production rates

    • Proficient at blueprint reading and geometric tolerancing

    • Maintain a high level of quality

    • Collect PCC data to maintain process control

    • Perform preventative maintenance on CNC Lathe machines to insure consistent machine performance

    • Experience set up and operating CNC Lathe/Turning machines

    • Strong math background, preferable in machine math

    • Understand Geometric Tolerancing

    • Experience in set-up and troubleshooting of CNC lathe machines a plus

    • Programming experience with CNC Lathes a plus

    • Prefer machining experience with aerospace components, devices, or instruments

    • High School diploma or equivalent

    • Post High School machining education preferred.
